GCSEs shape what comes next. Our GCSE tutors are qualified teachers who know the exams, can see exactly where marks are being lost, and build the knowledge and confidence to put it right, in live online lessons with safeguarding at the centre.
GCSE Maths, English and Science
Most families come to us for GCSE Maths, English Language, English Literature and the sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Combined Science). Teachers also cover GCSE History, Geography, modern foreign languages, Computer Science and more, depending on availability.
Teachers show the exam boards they teach on their profile, so you can choose someone who knows your child's specification. IGCSE students are welcome too.
How GCSE lessons work
Start with what your child needs: closing gaps, building confidence, or exam technique and past papers.
Choose 1-to-1 lessons, a small group, or a live GCSE course with a set number of lessons.
Book a single lesson, a package, or the same time every week.
After each lesson, notes, homework and feedback appear in your parent dashboard.
Safe, qualified teaching
Every teacher is a qualified teacher or experienced education professional, approved by hand before they can teach.
Identity, qualifications and police checks (enhanced DBS for UK teachers where applicable) are verified first.
Lessons take place in our secure online classroom in the browser, with live video and an interactive whiteboard. Nothing to download.
Lessons are recorded for safeguarding, stored securely and deleted after 30 days unless needed for a safeguarding or legal reason.
Parents see lesson notes, homework, feedback and progress in their own dashboard.
Teachers you can book
Richard - History, English Language, English Literature teacher
Any time it would help. Some students start in Year 10 to build strong foundations; others join in Year 11 to focus on revision, exam technique and past papers. A short first lesson helps the teacher see where to begin.
Can you help with GCSE resits?
Yes. Teachers can help students preparing to retake GCSE Maths or English, focusing on the topics and question types that cost marks last time.
Do you teach IGCSE as well as GCSE?
Yes. Teachers list the qualifications and exam boards they teach, including IGCSE, on their profiles.
How much do lessons cost?
Each teacher sets their own price, shown clearly on their profile before you book. You can book single lessons, save with a lesson package, or book weekly lessons. Payments are taken securely by Stripe.
Are your teachers DBS checked?
Yes. Every teacher goes through our verification process before joining: identity, qualifications, safeguarding requirements and a police check. UK teachers hold an enhanced DBS certificate where applicable; international teachers provide an equivalent police check.
Can I cancel or move a lesson?
Yes. Lessons can be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice. See our cancellation and refund policy for full details.
